Keeping infrastructure stable is fundamental, but you should still consider it just half the challenge. The other half? Keeping it ready for what’s coming, especially in an industry that keeps us jumping from one trend to the next. Operating systems evolve, client expectations grow, and integrations you relied on last year are likely to need a second look today.

And it’s exactly this kind of detail-heavy environment where EasyDCIM v1.22.0 brings the most value. The extended OS support means you can keep pace with modern systems without changing your processes. More flexible user and contact handling gives teams the clarity they need to delegate access without confusion. And new infrastructure reports do what reports should do: provide clear answers when you need them.

Ready for the latest: Debian 13 & Proxmox VE 9

EasyDCIM now includes full installation support for Debian 13 “trixie” and Proxmox VE 9, joining the list of systems you can deploy automatically using the OS Installation extension.

The installer does what you’d expect, and then some: it handles disk partitioning, SSH key deployment, post-install scripts, timezone configuration, first boot tasks, and even localization tweaks. Everything is built to match the automation-first mindset that powers modern infrastructure. It’s another way EasyDCIM helps you stay current, without adding to your ongoing operational load.

A new contact management model

A more organized approach to contacts management adds a missing piece to user relationships inside EasyDCIM. Administrators can assign and manage contacts directly, with additional actions like filtering and sorting, plus notifications sent automatically whenever assignments change.

But here’s the practical magic: a contact can now access not only their own services but also those tied to the parent user. It’s a simple shift that changes the way you think about delegation, transparency, and support structure, especially in reseller environments or larger organizations with distributed responsibilities.

And since we’re on the topic of clients, here’s a little teaser:
A fully reimagined client area is already in the works!
Expect a much more modern design, greater autonomy for end users, and the option to decouple it from the backend altogether. It’s a preview of how EasyDCIM is preparing for modularity and scale in the long run.

Infrastructure at a glance

If you’ve ever lost time clicking through endless rack views or device lists just to answer a simple operational question, this one will feel like the shortcut you always wished for.

Devices in Racks Report - EasyDCIM v1.22.0

Three new reports have been added to your everyday toolkit, giving you a better handle on what’s where, without jumping between views or exporting raw lists:

  • Devices by Floor: Know exactly how your infrastructure is distributed per floor (based on rack assignment).
  • Devices by Location: Get the full picture, including non-racked assets, logically grouped by their assigned location.
  • Devices in Racks: Focus on devices that are physically mounted, filtering out the unplaced.

WHMCS integration keeps getting smarter

Progress continues on multiple fronts, including EasyDCIM’s integration with WHMCS. The newest releases of Dedicated Servers For WHMCS and Colocation For WHMCS modules are now available, updated to better match the logic of DCIM and support more flexible provisioning scenarios.

Both now come fully compatible with the latest versions of WHMCS (V12 & V13) and bring several new integration benefits:

  • Bandwidth limits (95th percentile) are now passed automatically to EasyDCIM.
  • You can define custom metadata visibility separately for the client and admin areas.
  • Custom fields from the product setup are carried into EasyDCIM upon order creation.

There are also a few extras built specifically around dedicated servers:

  • A Sensors view in the client area shows real-time data like temperatures, fan speeds, and voltage levels.
  • A new Stock Control setting keeps your WHMCS product availability in sync with actual server inventory in EasyDCIM.
  • You can mirror visibility preferences from the client view into the admin panel.
  • Services can now be activated based on custom conditions, like waiting for the OS to be installed before going live.

All of these updates aim to streamline the connection between systems, reduce manual work, and give users a more transparent experience.

One step ahead, every time

EasyDCIM v1.22.0 is a combination of improvements meant to strengthen the foundation you already trust, built in direct response to how infrastructure is evolving. Whether you’re deploying on the latest Linux release, refining how your users interact with services, or hunting down the exact location of that one server, this update brings tools that help make processes clearer, and your team a bit more ahead of the curve. And in this business, sometimes that’s exactly what makes the difference.
